Café Swasthya’s interior design is inspired by Indian architecture, and uses local materials and textures, creating an authentic, serene, and cozy atmosphere within the Café.
The elegantly styled decor consists of a handcrafted bamboo ceiling taking inspiration from bamboo thatched roofs. Bamboo, being renewable,and eco-friendly, is light but has fibres as strong as steel. It helps to regulate temperature, and is considered a symbol of longevity and speedy recovery.
Rajasthani Upholstery on the sofa seats carries Charbagh prints (Kaleen rhubarb), which are Jaipuri prints that make use of patterns crafted authentically from the world of floral artefacts. They carry vibrant shades and give lustrous appeal, adding colour to the space.
The teakwood furniture is durable, and resistant to termite attacks. #Teak wood is known to emit auspicious energies and blessings and is considered to be a holy wood. It is valued for its water resistant properties.
Our comforting Jute matted seats carry high tensile strength. Jute is one of the strongest natural fibers and second most important vegetable fiber after cotton, in terms of usage, global consumption, production, and availability. Jute fibre is 100% bio-degradable, recyclable and is locally manufactured in India.
The Mudwall is the highlight of the interiors within the Café. Its source of inspiration is sandplaster. It showcases the exquisite range of Butterfly Ayurveda’ teas, cookies and more.
